Sesame chicken - 9/10 - Chicken🍗 was tender and very saucy with a sweet and gingery flavor, a little too sweet for me Beef mangolian - 8.5/10 - Spicy, flavorful, and saucy Chicken lo mein - 9/10 - Cooked very well with little greasiness, we added some chili🌶️ sauce for more flavor and spice Crab puffs - 8/10 - Really crispy but had a lot more cream cheese than crabmeat 🦀 I havent tried many Halal Chinese spots in Houston but this is one of the better Halal Chinese spots ive tried. The food was all fresh and flavorful with the meat cooked well. I also liked the ambiance. Prices are a bit on the pricier end but food was overall tasty with quality. They also have a buffet for just $18.99 on Wednesdays!

Came for the buffet, which is Wednesday nights and every night during Ramadan. It's so hard to stop eating, all of the food is delicious. The buffet menu rotates so you won't get bored if you come often. Free mango lassi included, the orange cream cake is delicious. All the stir fry is perfectly flavored and the fried ones are incredibly crispy. Even the chicken nuggets and French fries are amazing. Staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Recommend making a reservation during Ramadan because they are often fully booked.

Had a great experience at LY’s Kitchen for iftaar buffet. Nothing fancy but flavorful food and prompt service. The chicken corn soup and hot & sour soup were both very flavorful, and the mango lassi was excellent. We also really enjoyed the Mongolian beef, spring rolls, dumplings, and chicken curry shrimp all very tasty and well prepared. What impressed us most was that there was always enough food available and everything was being replenished regularly, so no one had to stand around waiting for dishes to come out. It made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely recommended 😊

They have buffet in Wednesday nights , On Friday & weekend they close at 10pm Instead of 9.30 . They have spicy and different levels of spice for certain items on the menu ( like phó). Bento style box/plate for lunch menu Been here a few times, their food is pretty good, loved it. Except for last time I went multiple of their dishes tasted off/weird to most people in our group.

The BEST place to enjoy halal Chinese cuisine! Ly Kitchen delivers truly authentic Chinese flavors with every dish—rich, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every plate we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, the prices are very affordable, offering incredible value for the quality you receive. Among all the Chinese restaurants in Houston and surrounding areas, this is easily the best overall. A special thank you to our servers, Sara and Ali, for her excellent recommendations and warm, friendly service—she made our visit truly memorable.
